LG Electronics Hosts Product Orientation Seminar

The seminar presented LG Electronic's hottest product lines of 2008 featuring the latest technological breakthroughs in digital home entertainment and household electronics particularly the much anticipated release of the LG Plasma Display Panel (PDP) and LCD televisions, LG Steam combo washing machines, LG Turbo Drum System fully-automatic washers and the new LG CS Refrigerators collection.

The LG Plasma Display Panel (PDP) features cutting-edge technologies in audio-video equipments incorporating the new Full HD 1080p technology with 9 million pixels (1920 x 1080 x 3 RGB) super high resolution to LG PDP and LCD televisions significantly improving screen details of plasma and LCD displays by 200% and creates a clearer and more natural rendering and presentation of pictures even on very large television screens especially designed for Blu-ray and HD-DVD input sources.

LG PDP and LCD televisions are equipped with an Intelligent Sensor Algorithm that adjusts picture quality elements such as brightness, contrast, color, sharpness and white balance based on the color temperature and illumination of the surroundings to make the viewers eyes comfortable and to produce the best screen color quality. The Intelligent Sensor Algorithm also eliminates unnecessary screen brightness which reduces 50% on power consumption.

Additional features of the newest LG plasma and LCD televisions include 3 preset AV modes, XD Engines Fresh White for ultra contrast adjustment, Anti-Dazzling System that protects the eyes by reducing white hues saturation on bright scenes and increasing black hues on dark scenes, invisible speakers, Clear Voice amplification, movable LED, High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) 1.3 deep color support for 30,36 and 48-bit (RGB or YCbCr) color depths, SIMPLINK with 3 HDMI for unified control of all HDMI devices (Blu-ray player, Sky box, home-cinema system, etc.), plug and play (PnP) USB 2.0 interface so you can play movies, music and pictures from USB flash memory, external hard disk drive, digital camera, MP3 player or memory card.

LG LCD televisions and Plasma Display Panels also feature E-Con simplified remote control an improved and simplified re-engineering of the LG remote control for easier and more comfortable access to your PDP and LCD sets.

Washing laundries will never be the same again as LG revolutionizes the way washing machines are made. The LG Steam DD Combo Washing Machine uses non-stop spray of water steam to clean, brighten and sterilize clothes all at the same time. Water at approximately 100C at 1600 times the volume of water under normal temperature is sprayed into the wash tub to dissolve stains, dirt and detergent faster than conventional fully-automatic washing machines. This reduces washing time, eliminates bacteria and micro organisms (proven range of 99.26% up to 100% sterilization), deodorizes clothes and self-cleans the tub for total convenience.

And finally, the new line of LG CS Refrigerators take a lead amongst competitors brands as the new generation refrigerators and freezers from LG invades the market. The new LG CS Refs features Green Ion Door Cooling that seals in freshness of foods inside the fridge by releasing negatively-charged ions inside, VitaLight Vitamin Plus that keeps vegetables and fruits 1.7 times fresher than conventional crisper (LED photosynthesize), OptiFresh for even and suitable temperature distribution and sealing, the worlds first in top indoor ice maker and a stylish and a compact modern kitchen design.
